Above: The Grijalva River, Sumidero Canyon, Chiapas, Mexico, where my next Open Water swim will take place on Saturday October 18, 2008.
Well, after all the training, including a fantastic 4,300 Metre session at Culford School pool with the West Suffolk Swimming Club masters last night, tomorrow morning at 2am we will be heading for Chiapas, Mexico via 8 hours in Toronto, Canada and 7 hours in Mexico City. It will a long journey of about 1.5 days, but I am really looking forward to competing against the likes of Beijing Olympians Petar Stoychev (Bulgaria) and Damian Blaum (Argentina) again (well swimming behind them anyway!). I will do a full report on our return.

Well that looks better than a wet Sunday afternoon in Felixstow!
P.M. LOL! Yes it certainly was, however, at least there are no crocodiles at Felixstowe!
It was really a excellent event and photographs here were awesome.
